And now a message from the Chair... PDF Print E-mail

If caves, bats, mud, or adventure sound enticing, you’ve come to the right place. Philly grotto is a caving club that focuses on safely exploring caves while being environmentally friendly.  I encourage you to come to a meeting if you want to discuss caving opportunities, and meet a fun group of people.

As another note, discussion among the caving community has heavily revolved around White-Nose Syndrome , a fungus that has been decimating bat populations in the Northeast, and spreading throughout the US. Please check out the NSS site, www.caves.org  for further information, and if you are planning any caving trips, please decon following these guidelines.
